Huanglong

Si algo tiene China, son unos parques naturales espectaculares. Este es el caso de Huanglong. Situado a 3.500 m de altura, es un conjunto de terrazas calizas, con un agua completamente transparente, que se extienden a lo largo de 7 kilómetros por un valle rodeado de preciosos bosques y montañas. Es patrimonio de la humanidad desde 1992.

If something has China, are the spectacular natural parks. This is the case in Huanglong. Situated at 3,500 m high, is a series of limestone terraces, with a completely transparent water, which extend along  7 km for a valley surrounded by  beautiful forests and snowy mountains. It is a world heritage site since 1992.

Voy a tratar de mostrar la belleza de este parque en tan sólo cuatro fotografías, todas ellas hechas con el Canon 17-85 mm.

Kakadu

Kakadu, situado en el norte de Australia a "pocos" kilómetros de Darwin, es un parque nacional con gran diversidad de fauna. Es un parque inmenso y se necesitan varios días para poder apreciarlo en su totalidad y disfrutarlo. Las zonas más atractivas para observar la vida salvaje son las zonas inundables y los cauces de los rios, donde con suerte se pueden encontrar cocodrilos de agua salada.

Kakadu, situated in northern Asutralia a "few" kilometers from Darwin, is a national park with a great diversity of wildlife. This park is huge and it takes several days to appreciate and enjoy. The most attractive areas for wildlife watching are the floodplains and channels of the rivers, where with luck you can find saltwater crocodiles.

  
Al tratarse de un parque lleno de animales, llevaba montado el 55-250 mm. Todas las fotos están realizadas con él.

Being a park full of animals, I took the 55-250 mm and all photos are made with that lens.

• La foto que en mi opinón representa al parque. Estas cosas, dependen de las sensaciones y momentos que uno tiene cuando viaja, así que imagino que cada cual, tendrá su foto de este parque.

• Estas hormigas no viven en hormigueros convencionales. Juntan varias hojas del árbol y forman una especie de pelota con ellas, construyendo así su hormiguero. Si sienten amenazada su casa, salen a defenderla rodeándola.
  
  
  
  These ants don´t live in conventional nests. The ants join  several leafs  and form a kind of ball with them, building their nest. If they feel threatened their home, they out to defend th nest surrounding it.

• Garza muy fácil de ver en las zonas inundables. También es muy común ver cormoranes y todo tipo de aves.

Litang

La cultura tibetana se extiende más allá de la región del Tibet. Cruzando la  espectacular cordillera de Hengduanshan, atravesando un puerto de 4.628 m., llegamos a Litang. Litang, a 4.014 m., es una de las ciudades más altas del mundo. El monasterio budista Changqingchunke'er, las carreras de caballos en verano y por supuesto, el gran contraste que existe con la cultura y la gente de otras zonas de China, son motivos más que suficientes para visitar esta ciudad, sin que importe el largo y duro camino hasta llegar a ella. 

Tibetan culture extends beyond the region of Tibet. Crossing the spectacular mountain range Hengduanshan for a pass of 4,628 m. we arrive to Litang. Litang is one of the highest cities in the world (4014 m.). The Buddhist monastery Changqingchunke'er, the horse racing in the summer and of course, the great contrast between the culture and people of China, are reason enough to visit this city, unmindful of the long and hard road to get to it.
